Through a series of impactful projects, ICLEI South Asia has supported local governments in Nepal on climate action planning, zero-waste initiatives, social inclusion in resilience building, assessing carbon emissions, preparing climate action plans, and implementing low-emission development strategies. It has introduced innovative waste management practices emphasising on 3Rs, and enhancing governance by promoting SDG leadership and more. With a strong emphasis on capacity building, gender equality, and locally led solutions, ICLEI South Asia’s Nepal office continues to support the country in navigating climate challenges and achieving sustainable development goals.
