Youth and Sustainability

ICLEI South Asia’s Youth and Sustainability programme is a new initiative aiming to engage, educate, and empower South Asia’s youth towards taking effective action on sustainability and climate resilience.

The youth are future leaders and changemakers, and have an important role to play in responding to environmental challenges and leading the shift towards sustainability. This initiative for offers a platform for youth action and innovation — for students, young professionals, and youth-led organisations to develop knowledge, strengthen skills, and collaborate on innovative, local solutions on global sustainability issues.

ICLEI South Asia aims to foster dialogue between youth and local governments, and with this initiative, reiterates its commitment towards inclusive, youth-driven sustainability for a greener, more equitable future.
