Technical Guidelines for Heat-Resilient and Sustainably Cooled Buildings in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

‘Technical Guideline for Heat-Resilient and Sustainably Cooled Buildings in Vijayawada city’ has been prepared under the leadership of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) as part of the project ‘Mainstreaming Climate Action in Three Cities of Andhra Pradesh’ implemented by ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability with funding support from C40. The technical assistance has been delivered to VMC for this high impact activity, identified by ICLEI South Asia and C40 along with the city government, through the project’s support. This guideline is the result of a joint effort by Environment Design Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and ICLEI South Asia. The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) acknowledges the support provided by the project partners and is keen to promote and advance the development of Heat-Resilient Buildings and Infrastructure in Vijayawada through the guideline developed under the project.
