Bangladesh Country Office

Our country office in Bangladesh is in Dhaka and has been operational since 2018, with the project offices being located in the cities of Rajshahi, Narayanganj and Singra. However, ICLEI South Asia has had a presence in Bangladesh since 2010, and is now a network of more than 12 local and regional governments. The Bangladesh office brings its varied capacity to support national and sub-national governments in initiatives related to sustainable development, climate mitigation and adaptation, climate risk and vulnerability assessment, municipal service delivery and waste management, besides integrated water resource planning, sustainable urban transport, climate finance, knowledge dissemination, and training and capacity building. The ICLEI South Asia Secretariat administers the operations in Bangladesh.
